Tips for Designing Personalised RSVP Cards

At Asset Print, we’ve created many versions of custom RSVP cards for our valued clients over the years. As such, we’ve learned quite a bit about what works and what doesn’t. Here are a few tips from our in-house design team.

• If you want to keep the printing costs and postage for your event or wedding as affordable as possible, go for an RSVP in the invitation card. These small RSVP cards are posted with your invitation, or can also be designed in the form of RSVP postcards. When you send invitations with RSVP cards, you only need to pay postage once, and the recipient will know to take immediate action to let you know whether they will be able to attend.
• Choose a nice legible font that works in tandem with the rest of your design elements. A font can make or break the look and feel of your event stationery, so if you’re unsure, ask your designer to share their expert insight.
• Don’t be afraid to be bold. If you feel like using colour, do it! What about eco card printing? Or how about thinking completely outside the box and opting for a die-cut card? If you don’t normally go the traditional route, feel free to discuss your ideas with your designer to find something that suits your style and personality.
